Abstract

V diplomski nalogi je predstavljen celoten postopek konstruiranja in izdelave nove obračalne naprave za obračanje tovornih kontejnerjev, z razlogom lažje končne obdelave le-teh med sestavljanjem in posledično tudi izboljšanjem letne produktivnosti. Pri obstoječi obračalni napravi se zaradi togega vpetja obeh strani naprave v tla soočamo s težavo pri spremembi dimenzij tovornega kontejnerja. S pomočjo raziskave in analize stare obračalne naprave smo skonstruirali ter izdelali novo obračalno napravo, ki se lahko zelo enostavno prilagaja različnim dimenzijam tovornih kontejnerjev, obenem pa se lahko enostavno premika po celotni proizvodni hali.

Secondary title: Design of a machine for turning freight containers
Secondary abstract: This thesis presents the entire process of designing and manufacturing a new turning machine for turning freight containers for the purpose of ensuring easier treatment of said containers during assembly and as a result an increase in yearly productivity. The existing turning machine presents problems because of the rigid mounting of the device into the ground which causes problems regards to changing the dimensions of freight containers. By researching and analysing the existing turning machine, we were able to design and built a new turning machine which is able to adjust to different dimensions of freight containers with ease and can also be easily moved throughout the entire factory to where it’s needed.
