Abstract

Secondary title: Optimization of assembly lines planning for the production of modular buildings in the company Arcont d.d.
Secondary abstract: This diploma work shows an upgrade proposal of the planning process for the production of modular buildings in the company Arcont d.d., with a professional tool from an outside provider. We compared the current way of working with the proposed one. Data for the comparison were obtained on the basis of an experiment. Due to the use of a test version of the program, it was not possible to use all of its features. For this reason, the functions used are presented on a practical example, and the rest are described theoretically. The advantages and disadvantages of the new way of working are shown to a limited extent, which currently does not allow us to say with certainty, that the new way of planning will be significantly better than the current one.
