Abstract

Diplomsko delo obravnava matematični model za izračun predvidene proizvedene električne energije s fotonapetostnim sistemom in porabljene električne energije s toplotno črpalko.

Secondary title: Development of a graphical user interface for calculating the production and consumption of electrical energy in a building
Secondary abstract: The diploma thesis deals with a mathematical model for the calculation of the predicted produced electrical energy with a photovoltaic system and the consumed electrical energy with a heat pump. We combined both calculations with the creation of a unified graphical user interface. The predicted produced electrical energy is determined by an averaged multi-annual measurement of global and diffuse density of solar radiation power for several places in Slovenia and by geometric connections between points on the Earth and the Sun. The electricity required for the operation of the heat pump is determined on the basis of the heat required to heat the building and the heat required to heat the domestic hot water. The result of the diploma work is a graphical user interface, which is made with the Matlab software package and is intended for the calculation of produced and consumed electrical energy for residential buildings in Slovenia. The interface provides simple user entries such as the location and orientation of the building, the dimensions of the building and the composition of the elements of the outer building envelope. The calculations of produced and consumed electricity were evaluated by comparison with measurements of the photovoltaic system and heat pump on existing buildings.
