Abstract
Električne baterije so električne naprave, katerih glavna lastnost je skladiščenje električne energije. Pojavljajo se v mnogih različnih aplikacijah, kot so: baterijski hranilniki, električna vozila, hibridna vozila, mobilne naprave itd. Med njimi so najbolj uporabljene litij-ionske baterije, saj so v primerjavi z drugimi baterijami zmogljivejše, ker imajo višjo specifično moč in energijo. Poleg mnogih pozitivnih lastnosti pa lahko zaradi kemijske nestabilnosti relativno hitro pride do njihovega vžiga, o čemer je tudi več napisanega v diplomskem delu.
Diplomsko delo obravnava problematiko litij-ionskih baterij z vidika požarne varnosti. Visoka gostota energije in uporaba vnetljivih elektrolitov predstavlja mnoge nove uganke in izzive na področju razvoja, skladiščenja in polnjenja ter praznjenja novih litij-ionskih baterij, kar smo s pomočjo več različnih poročil organizacij, ki se ukvarjajo s problematiko požarne varnosti litij-ionskih baterij in strokovnih člankov, podrobneje raziskali.

Electric batteries are devices that storages electrical energy. They appear in many different applications such as: battery storage devices, electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, mobile devices, etc. Lithium-ion batteries are the most widely used among them, as they are more powerful compared to other types, due to their high specific power and energy. In addition to many positive properties, due to chemical instability, they can ignite relatively quickly, which I explain further in the thesis.
The thesis focuses on issue of lithium-ion batteries from the point of view of a fire safety. The high energy density and use of flammable electrolytes pose many challenges in the development, storage and recharging of new lithium-ion batteries. A research that I did about fire safety of lithium-ion batteries was made based on several different professional articles and reports from organizations that are dealing with fire safety of lithium ion batteries. |
