Abstract

Diplomsko delo se nanaša na raziskovanje in opisovanje družbenega omrežja Instagram, ki v današnjih časih služi kot ena izmed najpomembnejših platform za promocijo turističnih destinacij. Osrednja tema je delovanje promocije in marketinga turističnih destinacij na družbenih omrežjih ter sprejemanje teh informacij z vidika turista. Analizirana je bila preferenca določenih kategorij fotografij, ki so med najpogostejšimi na področju promocije turističnih destinacij, na katere kot turisti in gledalci zelo pogosto naletimo na internetu. Ker se čas pisanja te naloge in opravljene ankete drastično razlikuje od časa brez svetovne pandemije COVIDA-19, so bili rezultati dokaj nepričakovani in drugačni od dosedanjih raziskav.

Secondary abstract: The thesis refers to the research and description of the social network Instagram, which nowadays serves as one of the most important platforms for the promotion of tourist destinations. The main topic is the operation of promotion and marketing of tourist destinations on social networks and the acceptance of this information from the point of view of tourists. The preference of certain categories of photographs, which are among the most common in the field of promotion of tourist destinations, which we as tourists and viewers very often come across on the Internet, was analyzed. Because the time of writing this paper and publishing the survey differs drastically from the time without a global COVID-19 pandemic, the results were quite unexpected and different from previous research.
