| Secondary abstract: | The aim of the final paper is to present a technology of vacuum die casting, to explain the influence of negative pressure and to make a numerical model of heat transfer between the mold and melt. First we described a process of vacuum die casting and the common errors that occur during the process, where we focused on MagmaSoft software. We made a numerical model of heat transfer based on a finite volume method in Mathematica programme. After that we also analysed the influence of the mesh density of the finite volumes and the size of the time step. |
