Abstract

Sončna energija je najčistejši vir energije, ki ga poznamo. V nam koristno električno energijo jo pretvarjamo s sončnimi celicami, na učinkovitost katerih vplivajo številni okoljski dejavniki in vrsta sončnih celic. V nalogi je predstavljena pomembnost izkoriščanja čistih energij na okolje, v kakšni obliki sončna energija pride do Zemlje, in kako jo lahko izkoriščamo. Predstavljene so vrste sončnih celic, njihove lastnosti, dejavniki, ki vplivajo na njihovo delovanje, in teoretične prednosti kombiniranja sončnih celic z ozelenjenimi površinami v mestih. Z eksperimentom smo ugotovili, kakšen vpliv imajo ozelenjene površine na hlajenje sončnih celic in njihovo učinkovitost.

Secondary abstract: Solar energy is the cleanest source of energy we know. It is converted into electricity by solar cells, the efficiency of which is influenced by many environmental factors and by the type of solar cell. This paper presents the importance of harnessing clean energy for the environment, in what form solar energy reaches the Earth and how we can harness it. Also, it presents the types of solar cells, their properties, the factors influencing their operation and the theoretical advantages of combining solar cells with green areas in cities. We found out what effect green areas have on the cooling of solar cells and their efficiency.
