Abstract
V treh oddelkih smo nesnice krmili brez prehranskega dodatka, v treh pa z dodatkom. Vpliv dodatka smo opredelili z merjenjem debeline in mase jajčne lupine, vsebnosti kalcija, fosforja in magnezija v lupini, vsebnost vitamina D in holesterola v rumenjakih ter ocenili pojavnost poškodbe grodnice. Ugotovili smo, da dodatek značilno znižuje vsebnost kalcija v jajčni lupini (361 mg/g, p % 0,05) in holesterol v rumenjakih (1179 mg/100g, p % 0,05). Značilno pa se je zvišala vsebnost vitamin D3 v rumenjakih (0,52 %g/100g, p % 0,05).

Influence of Hydrolyzable Tannins on Eggshell Composition and Keel Bone Damage in Laying Hens |
Secondary abstract: |
Eggshell quality is important for consumers. Pathogens that cause diseases can invade the inside of the egg through a damaged shell. Injuries to the brood of laying hens are becoming more common in various production systems and are considered to be one of the biggest welfare problems. The purpose of the experiment was to study the effect of a dietary supplement rich in hydrolyzable tannins (HTBCO), in the feed of laying hens, on the composition of the eggshells and the incidence of sternal damage. In the experiment, we had 36 laying hens, prelux-G breed, two groups in six wards of six animals each. In three wards, laying hens were fed without a dietary supplement, and in three with a supplement. The effect of the supplement was defined by measuring the thickness and weight of the eggshell, calcium content, phosphorus and magnesium in the shell, vitamin D content and cholesterol in the yolks, as well as an assessment of sternal damage. The results indicated that the supplement significantly reduced the content of calcium in the eggshell (361 mg / g, p % 0.05) and cholesterol in the yolks (1179 mg / 100g, p % 0.05). The content of vitamin D3 in yolks increased significantly (0.52 %g / 100g, p % 0.05). |
