Abstract

Vsebina virtualnega okolja v veliki meri vpliva na uporabnikovo vživetost in počutje. V diplomskem delu sem želela raziskati, kako abstrahiranje virtualnega okolja vpliva na uporabniško izkušnjo v navidezni resničnosti. V ta namen sem razvila aplikacijo, ki vsebuje dve okolji – figurativno in njegovo abstrahirano verzijo. Ugotavljala sem, katero okolje uporabniki preferirajo, kateri faktorji vplivajo na njihovo odločitev in kakšna občutja doživljajo v enem ter v drugem okolju. Na podlagi vprašalnikov in testiranja aplikacije na končnih uporabnikih sem prišla do sklepa, da uporabniki preferirajo abstraktno okolje. To okolje vsebuje manj motečih elementov, kar je pripomoglo k temu, da so se uporabniki počutili bolj sproščeno, poleg tega so se lažje osredotočili na naloge, ki so jim bile dodeljene znotraj okolja.

Secondary abstract: The content of virtual environment has a strong impact on the user’s immersion and well-being. In this thesis, I wanted to research, how the abstraction of the virtual environment impacts the user’s experience in virtual reality. I developed an application with two environments – figurative and its abstract version. I wanted to find out which environment is preferred by the users, which factors impact on their decision and what kind of feelings are they experiencing in both environments. Based on the questionnaires and testing on the users, I came to the conclusion that the users prefer the abstract environment. This environment contains less distractive elements, therefore the users felt more relaxed moreover, they found it easier to concentrate on the tasks, which were given to them inside the virtual environment.
