Secondary title: | Parametric study of auxetic filter's particle permeability |
Secondary abstract: | We developed and validated computer models of auxetic structures that can reproduce the behaviour of tensile quasi-static experimental tests. We performed parametric computer simulations of computer models where we were changing the geometry of the auxetic material cell: the length and the width of the slit. We analysed the influence of deformation on the change of auxetic material open area and the ability of particles of different sizes to pass through the open areas based on computer model results and compered them to experimental results. The master’s thesis presents computer models that enable a detailed analysis of how the geometry affects the mechanic and deformation behaviour of metamaterials (filters). |
