Abstract

V letih 2019 in 2020 smo spremljali agro-morfološke lastnosti visoko heterozigotnih križancev češenj 'Regina' in 'Lapins'.

Secondary title: Agro-Morphological Characteristics of ‘Regina’ × ‘Lapins’ Cherry Crosses
Secondary abstract: Between 2019 and 2020, the agro-morphological characteristics of highly heterozygous hybrids of 'Regina' and 'Lapins' cherries were monitored. The collection comprises 130 hybrids planted in 2010 in the collection plantation of the University Agricultural Centre Pohorski dvor at the Faculty of Agriculture and Biosystem Sciences of the University of Maribor in cooperation with the INRA Institute in Bordeaux, France. In order to monitor the genetic characteristics of hybrids, pruning and plant protection in the plantation were not performed. The dynamics and intensity of flowering were monitored in the experiment, and special emphasis was placed on determining the parameters of fruit quality in connection with the occurrence of damage from the cherry fly (Rhagoletis cerasi L.) and fruit cracking. The master thesis presents the results for selected hybrids no. 53, 43, 77, 79 and 95, which have been highlighted as suitable for our production area on the basis of previous research in the thesis. It was found out that the damage from the cherry fly was higher in the year when the fruits formed more dry matter due to specific climatic conditions and in the case when the firmness of the exocarp at the stalk was lower. Fruit cracking was not present in the selected hybrids, which confirms their suitability for our production area
