Abstract

Secondary title: Computer aided measurement of demanding workpieces with an optical digitizer
Secondary abstract: The aim of the thesis is to determine if optical digitalization is an interesting tool for quality management of demanding workpieces in additive manufacturing processes. In the theoretical part of the paper, we present the basics of metrology, three-coordinate measuring techniques, optical digitalization and basics of additive manufacturing. Next, we conduct an empirical experiment in which we compare sensory and optical three-coordinate processes on 6 demanding workpieces. Results of the empirical trial show, that optical digitizers are a very appropriate tool for quality management of workpieces with complex surfaces and workpieces of structurally more delicate materials.
