Abstract
Epilepsija je ena najstarejših in najpogostejših nevroloških bolezni, ki se žal pojavlja tudi v zgodnji otroški dobi in lahko na različne načine vpliva na kakovost življenja mladega posameznika tako doma kot tudi v širšem socialnem okolju. Namen teoretičnega dela magistrskega dela je predstaviti epilepsijo, različne vrste napadov, vzroke za pojav bolezni, prvo pomoč pri generaliziranih epileptičnih napadih, diagnosticiranje bolezni in različne možnosti zdravljenja. V nadaljevanju smo predstavili vpliv bolezni na delo učencev v šoli, pomen sodelovanja staršev, otrok in učiteljev (šole) ter prilagoditve, ki jih ti dolgotrajno bolni učenci potrebujejo v šoli, od posameznika do posameznika se razlikujejo, zato jih ni mogoče za vse poenotiti. Problematika, s katero smo se ukvarjali v empiričnem delu magistrskega dela, je seznanjenost učiteljev z epilepsijo pri učencih, ki obiskujejo redno osnovno šolo. Ugotavljali smo, ali so učitelji in specialni pedagogi s področja Pomurja, ki so sodelovali v naši raziskavi, seznanjeni z boleznijo, ali znajo ukrepati v primeru epileptičnega napada pri učencu, ali poznajo prilagoditve, ki jih takšni otroci potrebujejo pri svojem izobraževanju, ob koncu so nas zanimala tudi njihova osebna stališča do učencev z epilepsijo.

Secondary abstract: |
Epilepsy is one of the oldest and most common neurological diseases, which unfortunately also occurs in early childhood and can affect the quality of life of a young individual in various ways, both in home and wider social environments. The purpose of the theoretical part of the master's thesis is to present epilepsy, different types of seizures, causes of the disease, first aid for generalised epileptic seizures, disease diagnosis and various treatment options. Furthermore, we presented the impact of the disease on the work of students in school, the importance of participation of parents, children and teachers (schools), and the adjustments that these long-term ill students need in school, but they differ from individual to individual. The issue we dealt with in the empirical part of the thesis is the familiarity of teachers with epilepsy in students attending regular primary school. We determined whether the teachers and special pedagogues from the area of Pomurje, who participated in our research, are aware of the disease, whether they know how to act in case of an epileptic seizure in a student, whether they know the adaptations such children need in their education. Finally, we were also interested in their personal views on students with epilepsy. |
