magistrsko delo
Abstract

Secondary abstract: |
The master thesis "Motivation of older employees and its influence on the job satisfaction and business organisation" is written with the aim of identifying the incentives that motivate groups of older employees, how this affects their job satisfaction and what impact a motivated and satisfied older worker has on the business organisation.
The theoretical overview of the work is supported by definitions of key concepts and a number of comparisons of research in the same and similar fields by different authors and experts, which preceded the empirical research of the work.
The empirical part of the research was carried out using a questionnaire survey conducted in Croatia, which covered 200 people aged 45+ in a working relationship, or, in the final results, those who belonged to the group of older employees were taken as a representative sample.
The survey found that the group of older employees is most driven by internal factors, as long as motivation and the work environment have an impact on their job satisfaction and performance. Their intellectual wealth, the knowledge and experience they have acquired over the years, is the reason why many business organisations choose to retain older employees in the workplace in order to pass this on to the younger generations and contribute to the success of the business organisation in synergy with the different age teams. |
