diplomsko delo
Abstract
Izdelani so bili trije različni prenosniki.

Traditional and computer-aided bracket placement by indirect method |
Secondary abstract: |
Introduction: The main purpose of a fixed orthodontic appliance is to move teeth from a irregular to a correct position in all directions. In doing so, we must pay attention to certain rules to avoid unwanted tooth movements. Bonding brackets for an orthodontic appliance can be performed directly in the mouth or in a dental laboratory on stone models. Purpose: To compare different techniques of bracket placement at fixed orthodontic appliances according to indirect methods of different types of transplants. Methods: Laboratory-made trays for indirect bonding with a description of procedures and techniques, equipped with images and a review of domestic and foreign professional literature in the field of dental orthopaedics. Results: The diploma thesis presents two different methods of the indirect bonding technique. Three different trays were made: a classic method on stone models and a tray of two-component silicone, and two computer-based methods with silicone trays. Discussion and conclusion: A two-component silicone tray was selected for clinical use. This technique is preferred by the chosen therapist and by myself, the technician. The tray fits nicely in the mouth and is easy to make and use. Of the described methods, the classic technique for indirect bonding is also the fastest. With the rapid development of digital methods their use is becoming increasingly popular, as it enables faster communication between the office and the laboratory, and increases accuracy of orthodontic treatments. |
