Abstract

Secondary title: Electrodynamic forces between busbars
Secondary abstract: In the master’s thesis, based on the IEC 60865 standard for dimensioning electrodynamic forces between busbars, the maximum values of forces in three-phase busbar system are calculated. Then the dynamic force responses between the busbars are calculated with the analytical procedure in the case of short–circuit currents. The comparison is made between the two procedures. The analytical procedure is upgraded with numerical force calculation based on the finite element method using the EleFAnT 2D and FEMM software tools for normal operation and in the case of the short circuit. Numerical calculations represent the verification of the analytical model, wich is also the goal of the master’s thesis. A comparison of calculations between individual methods and analysis of the conformity of the dynamic control procedure with real conditions are also performed.
