Abstract

Epidemija covida-19 je trenutno ena izmed najbolj perečih problematik, s katero se po celem svetu spopadajo na različne načine. V poskusu omejitve prenosa bolezni so se ponekod po svetu za določen čas med drugimi zaprle tudi izobraževalne ustanove, izobraževanje pa je potekalo na daljavo, s čimer se pod vprašanje postavlja kakovost takšnega izobraževanja. V magistrski nalogi smo obravnavali izkušnje študentov v času epidemije covida-19 na Fakulteti za informacijske študije (FIŠ) v Novem mestu. Natančneje smo prikazali vpogled v razmišljanje in osebna mnenja študentov, ki smo jih pridobili z odgovori na vprašanja v polstrukturiranem intervjuju. Pridobljene odgovore smo kvalitativno analizirali s programom ATLAS.ti. Iz pridobljenih rezultatov lahko sklepamo, da epidemija covida-19 ni imela bistvenega vpliva na kakovost študija na FIŠ v Novem mestu oz. je bil ta vpliv minimalen. Seveda pa je vedno prostor za izboljšave, zato smo v raziskavi pridobili precej možnih predlogov za izboljšanje študija v času epidemije covida-19.

Secondary abstract: The COVID-19 epidemic is currently one of the biggest problems, which the world is dealing with in different ways. In an attempt to limit the transmission of the disease, educational institutions were closed for a certain period. The alternative was distance education, but the question is whether its quality was on the same level as the conventional education. The master's thesis examines the students’ experience with this situation during the COVID-19 epidemic at the Faculty of Information Studies in Novo mesto. The conducted interview has shown a detailed insight into the students’ thinking and their opinions about the distance education. The obtained responses were qualitatively analyzed using the ATLAS.ti program. According to the results we can conclude that the COVID-19 epidemic has had minimal or no significant impact on the quality of studies at FIŠ in Novo mesto. The research offered us also a number of suggestions for improving the studies during the COVID-19 epidemic, which will be very helpful in case of another lockdown.
