diplomska naloga
Abstract

Special features of physiotherapeutic treatment and nutritional support for women in different life periods |
Secondary abstract: |
Male and female bodies have anatomic and physiological differences. Specifics to women’s physical and psychological perceptions are associated with profound reproductive and hormonal changes during lifetime. With an understanding of the hormonal system and with a detailed observation of individual hormonal status, we can find rational answers to possibly irrational behaviours, mood swings, low energy levels and emotional responses. The research area is very extensive, but trying to understand the background of hormonal fluctuations from a physiotherapeutic point of view could aid in a better suited individual program. Through a review of the literature we were searching for main changes in the female body drived by the hormonal system and diseases women have a greater chance of developing than men. We found that healthy habits have a great impact on someone’s health status. |
