Abstract

Secondary title: Stress-strain analysis of a polyurethane sealing element for hydraulic cylinder
Secondary abstract: In this thesis, an analysis of hydraulic piston seal working principles is presented. First, the searching and researching processes of the most suitable rheological model for the seal material are described. It was found that the most suitable material rheological model is Marlow's model of hyperelasticity. Then, the required uniaxial tension and compression tests were performed, which were needed for a set-up of the numerical material model. To test its accuracy, a simulation of the compression test was made and its results were evaluated. With the constructed material model, a statical analysis of the hydraulic piston seal was conducted. Finally, its results and findings related to the seal%s condition after mounting and at three different operating pressures were collected and evaluated.
