Abstract

Dnevna rutina zavzema velik del otrokovega življenja v vrtcu. Z uvedbo in uporabo skrbno izbranih in načrtovanih socialnih iger, otroci spoznavajo, usvajajo in razvijajo socialne veščine.

Secondary title: The enrichment of a daily routine with social games for the preschool children in the first age period
Secondary abstract: Daily routines are a big part of a child's life in kindergarten. Because it is something fixed, agreed, repetitive, it often brings rigidity. To turn this rigidity into pleasantly guided transitions between segments of the daily routine, they can be enriched with social games. Through the introduction and use of carefully selected and planned social games, children learn, acquire and develop social skills. In the empirical part, we examined the differences before and after integrating social games into the daily routine in terms of a) emotional responses, b) interpersonal relationships, c) motivation and activity, d) ease of transition between activities, e) autonomy, and f) self-regulation. 12 children aged 1-2 years participated in the study. The analysis showed that enriching the daily routine is an example of a good practice. The differences before and after the enrichment activities in the daily routine were reflected in the increase in tolerance, active participation, motivation, interpersonal relationships and the creation of a pleasant atmosphere in the playroom. The results provide an important starting point for enriching and improving social interactions in the daily routine of the kindergarten.
