Abstract

V delu smo obravnavali predelavo sušilnika titanovega dioksida s proizvodno kapaciteto 70500 kg na dan. Sestavljen je iz šestih komor, v katerih poteka sušenje vlažne pogače preko gretega zraka, ki je ogrevan s pomočjo lamelnih prenosnikov toplote s paro tlaka 17 bar in temperature 220 oC. Predelava je zajemala zamenjavo stranskih vrat, izboljšavo zapiralnega mehanizma, zamenjavo tesnilnega elementa, ter zamenjavo stropne izolacije tračnega sušilnika. Toplotne izgube smo določili na podlagi opravljenih meritev z infrardečo kamero in tehnoloških parametrov pridobljenih iz centralnega nadzornega sistema. Na osnovi analize delovanja tračnega sušilnika pred in po predelavi smo ocenili, da smo toplotne izgube na tračnem sušilniku zmanjšali za 31,2 %. V delu smo opredelili nadaljnje možnosti izboljšanja učinkovitosti tračnega sušilnika.

Secondary title: Analysis of the titanium dioxide belt dryer
Secondary abstract: In master's thesis, we discussed the processing of a titanium dioxide dryer with a production capacity of 70500 kg per day. It consists of six chambers in which the drying of the moist material takes place through heated air, which is heated by means of lamellar heat exchangers with a steam pressure of 17 bar and a temperature of 220 °C. The conversion included the replacement of the side doors, the improvement of the closing mechanism, the replacement of the sealing element, and the replacement of the ceiling insulation of the belt dryer. Heat losses were determined on the basis of measurements performed with an infrared camera and technological parameters obtained from the central control system. Based on the analysis of the operation of the belt dryer before and after processing, we estimated that the heat losses on the belt dryer were reduced by 31.2 %. We also identified further possibilities to improve the efficiency of the belt dryer.
