Abstract

Magistrsko delo z naslovom Od formalne likovne analize k scenografiji: nekaj primerov sestavljata teoretični in praktični del. V teoretičnem delu smo proučili likovno teoretsko obravnavo prostora v slikarstvu, kar smo podkrepili s klasifikacijo prostorskih vodil. Slednje smo obravnavali pri formalni likovni analizi izbranih slikarskih del. Ob tem smo prikazali razvoj načinov upodobitve prostora v slikarstvu, torej s pomočjo umetnostnozgodovinskega pregleda ključnih obdobij in njihovih prostorskih paradigem.

Secondary title: From Formal Analysis of Fine Art to Scenography: A Few Examples
Secondary abstract: This master's thesis titled From formal analysis of fine art to scenography: a few examples consists of a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part, we examined the fine arts theoretical treatment of space in painting which was supported by a classification of spatial guidelines. Additionally, these guidelines were used in formal analysis of selected paintings. Furthermore, we have indicated the development of manner representing space in painting through the art historical overview of the main periods and their spatial paradigms. With regard to the selected paintings, the key periods in a construction of their pictorial space are the Renaissance and Modernism, to which we have added the Baroque and Romantic periods, depending on the motifs of the work. Moreover, we focused on a scenographic design, particularly on the scenographic model development. In the following process of creating the practical part, we have thus linked the results of the formal analysis of the paintings with the literature intended for designing scenographic models. The main results of the practical part confirmed our main hypothesis, claiming that by combining the laws of pictorial space creation and technologies of scene model design, we can recreate the painting’s space.
