Abstract

Secondary title: MOTIVATION OF NURSES FOR WORKING IN THE COMMUNITY SERVICE
Secondary abstract: Each person is unique and for that reason there is no only one mean of motivation which is suitable for all people. Motivation to work depends on numerous factors, mainly with nurses who face new challenges every day. We want to find out what motivates nurses to work and if they are satisfied with their work. We have used a decriptive method of work at our research. 23 nurses have participated in the research. We have made a questionaire which results show that the nurses are satisfied with their work and that they have no intention to change their workplace. The highest motivation factor is interesting work. The work is better done if it is interesting. An important finding is that the nurses have reached the highest level in their need for self-actualization. It means that they want to develop their competences, talent and creativity. The nurses are motivated for their work and thus satisfied. But at their organization they would have to introduce coaching which would give them even higher motivation to work
