Tržna analiza cestnega transporta v času pandemije COVID-19

Abstract

Pandemija koronavirusa je v letu 2020 močno vplivala na gospodarstvo in čeprav so nekatera podjetja v tem obdobju iskala možnosti za preživetje na trgu, so druge obrti poslovale v obsegu, kot še nikoli prej. Zaradi hudega vpliva virusa ter posledičnih omejitev in predpisov je bila močno prizadeta tudi transportna industrija, ki je bila ključnega pomena za oskrbo države z osnovnimi izdelki, zdravili in vsemi medicinskimi pripomočki. Zapiranje proizvodnih obratov, odločbe o karanteni in pomanjkanje dela pa so ovirali tudi poslovanje cestnih tovornih prevoznikov. V diplomskem delu smo pripravili tržno analizo cestnega transporta v času pandemije COVID-19 ter obravnavali negativne vplive, s katerimi so se morali soočati tudi prevozniki. Analizirali smo ukrepe in omejitve držav, potrebno dokumentacijo za prestop občinskih ter državnih mej, vpliv konkurence, indeks cen in ponudbo ter povpraševanje po tovornih storitvah in jih primerjali s stanjem še pred pojavom koronavirusa v letu 2019.

Secondary abstract:	The coronavirus pandemic had a significant impact on the economy in 2020, and although some companies were trying to stay afloat in the COVID-19 crisis, other businesses were functioning on a scale that had never been witnessed before. Due to the severe impact of the virus and the resulting limitations and regulations, the transportation industry, which was critical to supply the country with basic products, medications, and all medical gadgets, was severely impacted as well. Closures of manufacturing sites, quarantine decisions, and a lack of work have all hampered the productivity of road freight carriers as well. We have prepared a market study of road transportation during the covid-19 pandemic and documented the negative consequences that carriers also had to deal with. We have stated the countries regulations, the necessary paperwork, the influence of competition, the price index, and the supply and demand for freight services, and we compared them to the situation in 2019, when the virus had not yet been discovered in Slovenia.
