Abstract

V prispevku je prikazana raziskava vpliva globine kuliranja in deleža elastomerne preje na dimenzijske spremembe levo-desnega kulirnega pletiva med relaksacijo. V ta namen so bile raziskane dimenzijske spremembe za surova in beljena bombažna pletiva z različnim deležem elastomerne preje v primerjavi s pletivom brez elastomerne preje. Na podlagi analize rezultatov raziskave je bilo ugotovljeno, da globina kuliranja pomembno vpliva na dimenzijske spremembe pletiva med relaksacijo. Z naraščajočo globino kuliranja narašča stopnja relaksacije pri surovem 100-odstotnem bombažnem pletivu, medtem ko je pri surovih pletivih z vpleteno elastomerno prejo zaznano specifi čno obnašanje tovrstnih pletiv med relaksacijo, ki se lahko pripiše kompleksnosti pletene strukture in nastalih interakcij med procesom relaksacije. Pletiva z vpletenim elastomernim monofi lamentom v vsako drugo zančno vrstico dosegajo nižje vrednosti stopnje relaksacije v vertikalni smeri kot v horizontalni. Pomembno višje vrednosti stopnje relaksacije v vertikalni smeri dosegajo pletiva z vpletenim elastomernim monofi lamentom v vsako zančno vrstico. V primerjavi s surovimi pletivi pa dosegajo beljena pletiva pomembno nižje vrednosti stopnje relaksacije v vertikalni kot v horizontalni smeri. Nižje vrednosti so posledica delne mokre relaksacije in krčenja, kateremu so bila pletiva izpostavljena med beljenjem.

Secondary title: Dimensional changes of single jersey weft knitted fabric with elastomer yarn consumption during relaxation process
Secondary abstract: The article presents the study of the infl uence of sink depth and elastomer yarn consumption on the dimensional changes of single jersey weft knitted fabric during the relaxation process. For this purpose, the dimensional changes of a raw and bleached cotton knitted fabric were examined with a different elastomer yarn consumption during the relaxation process compared with a knitted fabric without elastomer yarn. On the basis of the result analysis, it was confirmed that the sink depth has a significant influence on the dimensional changes of a knitted fabric during the relaxation process. With the increased value of sink depth, the degree of relaxation increases at raw 100% cotton knitted fabric, while at the raw knitted fabric with added elastomer yarn, specific behaviour of such knitted fabrics during the relaxation was confirmed; the latter can be ascribed to the complexity of the knitted structure and developed interactions during the relaxation. Knitted fabrics with incorporated elastomer monofilament in every second course achieve lower relaxation degree values in the vertical direction than in the horizontal direction. Knitted fabrics with incorporated elastomer monofilament in every course achieve signifi cantly higher relaxation degree values in the vertical direction. In comparison with raw knitted fabrics, bleached knitted fabrics achieve significantly lower relaxation degree values in the vertical direction than in the horizontal direction. Lower values are a consequence of a partial wet relaxation and of contraction the knitted fabrics were exposed to in the bleaching process.
