Abstract

V diplomskem delu smo se osredotočili na polipropilen in preučili, kako vpliva recikliranje na spremembo njegovih mehanskih lastnosti. Pri tem smo se najprej seznanili z lastnostmi polipropilena, njegovo strukturo in s tem, kaj vse bi lahko nanjo vplivalo. Raziskali smo različne postopke recikliranja in v katerih primerih se določen postopek uporablja. Zanimalo nas je, katere mehanske lastnosti so za končni izdelek ključne. V zadnjem delu smo se osredotočili na raziskave, ki so bile na tem področju v zadnjem času objavljene v literaturi. V ta namen sta na koncu predstavljena dva članka, ki opisujeta, kako recikliranje vpliva posredno in neposredno na spremembo mehanskih lastnosti.

Secondary title: Effect of recycling on mechanical properties of polypropylene
Secondary abstract: The focus of my thesis was on polypropylene and how recycling processes affect its mechanical properties. For this purpose the emphasis in the first part of the thesis was on the classification, structure and morphology of polypropylene in addition to that, different recycling procedures and the mechanical properties that are important for finished products are described. In the final part the thesis is focused on the investigation, that have already been published in the literature. Two papers on how recycling affects directly or indirectly, respectively, the mechanical properties are therefore presented.
