diplomsko delo (visokošolski strokovni študij)
Abstract
Delo predstavlja oglarjenje v krajevni enoto Radeče in njen razvoj s pomočjo oglarske poti. Oglarska pot povezuje dvanajst zanimivih točk naravne, kulturnein etnološke dediščine. V Gozdnogospodarski enoti Dole so tehniko poogljevanja lesa prinesli italijanski oglarji.

ǂThe ǂ charcoal trail and the charcoal production at Dole |
Secondary abstract: |
The graduate thesis presents the charcoal-burning tradition in the local unityof Radeče and the role of charcoal-burning tourist trail in the local development. The charcoal trail connects twelve interesting points of natural, cultural and ethnological heritage. The Dole Forest Management Unit inherited the wood carbonating technique from Italian charcoal-burners who first brought it here. The research results show that the highest cost is represented by firewood - 54 % of the total costs. In labour cost the highest cost is represented by the supervision of carbonisation - 47 % of total costs. The total cost for the pile in this case amounted to 1,355. The pile included 13,860 kg of wood - the weight has been determined by weighing the wood before it was built into the pile. From these quantities 2,250 kg of charcoal was obtained. This means that for 1 kg of charcoal 6.16 kg of beech wood was needed. A larger economic effect is achieved with the carbonisation of larger piles. The economic viability is also complemented by the fact that poorer quality firewood is used for charcoal piles building, for which there is no demand in the market. |
