Abstract

Diplomsko delo zajema analizo in izboljšavo osnovnega centrifugalnega rotorja in rotorja z ojačitvenima obročema, ki je že v uporabi. Naloga centrifugalnega rotorja je kroženje zraka v peči pri tehnološkem postopku žarjenja aluminijevih zlitin. Problem obstoječega rotorja je krajša življenjska doba zaradi temperature žarjenja in s tem povezane mejne vrednosti napetosti, ki povzročijo porušitev materiala. Cilj naloge je doseči čim nižje napetosti pri obratovanju rotorja, sprva pri osnovnem rotorju, nato pa pri rotorju z ojačitvenima obročema. V diplomskem delu so zajeti postopki konstruiranja in simuliranja rotorjev, čemur sledi analiza in primerjava med osnovnim modelom in modeli z izboljšavami.

Secondary title: Numerical analysis of centrifugal rotor load carrying capacity
Secondary abstract: This thesis covers the analysis and improvement of the basic centrifugal rotor and the rotor with reinforcing rings, which is already in use. The function of the centrifugal rotor is the circulation of air in the furnace in the technological process of annealing aluminum alloys. The problem with the existing rotor is the shorter service life due to the annealing temperature and the associated stress limits that cause the material to collapse. The aim of the task is to achieve the lowest possible stress during rotor operation, first at the basic rotor and then at the rotor with reinforcing rings. The diploma thesis covers the procedures of construction and simulation of rotors, followed by analysis and comparison between the basic model and models with improvements.
