Abstract

V magistrskem delu smo opisali pomen etike v zdravstveni negi, ki je osnova medicinskim sestram za etično razmišljanje in odločanje ob dilemah v vsakodnevni praksi zdravstvene nege. Poznavanje teorij etike in procesa etičnega odločanja pripomorejo k razvijanju sposobnosti, ki jih medicinska sestra potrebuje za etično ravnanje ob strokovni napaki v zdravstveni negi. Opredelili smo strokovno napako v zdravstveni negi in osnove kazenskega prava, ki se nanašajo na strokovno delo medicinskih sester. Metodologija raziskovanja. Raziskava je temeljila na kvantitativni metodologiji. Podatke smo pridobili s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika delno odprtega tipa. Raziskovalni vzorec je zajemal 186 članov negovalnega tima iz različnih delovnih področij splošne bolnišnice. Dobljene podatke smo predstavili s pomočjo računalniških programov Microsoft Excel in SPSS, s katerim smo izvedli statistično analizo. Uporabili smo metodo enostavne regresije. Rezultati. Raziskava je pokazala, da člani negovalnega tima delujejo etično in v skladu s Kodeksom etike medicinskih sester in zdravstvenih tehnikov Slovenije. Poznavanje kazenske odgovornosti v zdravstveni negi ni zadovoljivo. Sklep. Člani negovalnega tima morajo poznati kazensko odgovornost v svojem poklicu, zato so nujno potrebna dodatna izobraževanjih s področja kazenskega prava.

Secondary abstract: In this master’s degree research it is described the importance of ethics in health care, which is the basis for nurses for ethical thinking and decision making at the dilemmas in the daily practice of nursing. Knowledge of theories of ethics and ethical decision-making process contribute to the development of skills required for nurse to deal in ethical way when errors in nursing practice occur. Nursing errors and the principles of criminal law relating to the nursing practice are defined. Research methodology. Research was based on quantitative methodology. Data were collected through a partially open-ended questionnaire. The research sample consisted of 186 members of nursing team from different work areas of general hospital. Statistical analysis of obtained data is performed with computer programs Microsoft Excel and SPSS. As a method a Simple regression has been used. Results. The research showed that members of the nursing team are acting ethically and in accordance with the Code of Ethics for Nurses and Health Technicians of Slovenia. Knowledge of criminal responsibility in health care is not satisfactory. Conclusion. Members of the nursing team should be aware of criminal responsibility in their work, thus underlining the urgent need for additional training in the field of criminal law is expected.
