Sodobna monumentalizacija srbske monarhije

o sodobnih razpravah o restavraciji monarhije v Srbiji

Abstract

V članku je predstavljen monarhistični vidik politične restavracije v sodobni srbski kulturi spomina. Najprej je definirano bistvo monarhije nasploh, in sicer kot najpopolnejše oblike osebne oblasti, zatem je na kratko predstavljena specifičnost srbske novoveške monarhije in nazadnje še nova posocialistična srbska monarhistična kultura. Srbska monarhija je bila še funkcionalna v 19. stoletju, po 1. svetovni vojni pa je postala čisti anahronizem, današnji restavratorski monarhizem pa je poskus okrepiti šibko nacionalno in državno enotnost.

Secondary abstract:	The article presents the monarchist viewpoint of political restoration in the contemporary Serbian culture of memory. The essence of monarchy as such is defined. The most significant forms of personal power are presented, followed by a brief overview of the specifics of the Serbia new age monarchy, and in conclusion, the article presents the new post socialist Serbian monarchist culture. The Serbian monarchy was still functional in the 19th century, but after the 1st World War became an anachronism, while the contemporary restoration monarchism is an attempt to fortify the weak national and state unity.
