Abstract

Diplomsko delo obravnava raziskavo glede motivacije za izobraževanja in delo v marketinškem podjetju. V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili različne opredelitve pojma motivacija. Opisali smo različne motivacijske teorije, kot so teorija Maslowa, Herzbergova dvofaktorska teorija, Teorija X in Y, Vroomova motivacijska teorija, McClellandova motivacijska teorija in Hackman-Oldhamov model.

Secondary title: Motivation of employees for education and work in a marketing company
Secondary abstract: This thesis deals with research on motivation for education and work in a marketing company. In the theoretical part, we presented different definitions of the term motivation. We described various motivational theories such as Maslow’s theory, Herzberg’s two-factor theory, Theory X and Y, Vroom’s motivational theory, McClelland’s motivational theory, and the Hackman-Oldham model. We also presented the motivation of employees for work and motivational factors. In the continuation of the theoretical part, we defined the concepts of education, tasks and goals of education and challenges in employee education. We concluded the theoretical part with a description of motivation for education. The theoretical part was followed by a survey conducted with an online questionnaire, through which we received answers to our questions. We found that employees are most motivated for education by career development and personal satisfaction. For work they are motivated by a reward for success and good salary. Employees agree that motivation affects their work, and most of them also believe that they are motivated enough for work. They are demotivated for education by the high costs of education and the fact that the company does not provide education for everyone. They also pointed out the overburdening of work obligations.
