Secondary abstract: | Given the growing need for larger and more powerful networks, companies are forced to find managment solutions outside of traditional network management. It is precisely because of these needs that the so called Software Defined Network (SDN). SDN allow "scalability" and a simpler approach tackling effective network management. Network service orchestrators are based on these solutions and provide additional functionalities intended primarily for Internet service providers. In the diploma thesis, we compared different open source and closed source solutions for orchestration of network services. We also developed a custom ACL network service based on a case study using the Cisco NSO tool for an imaginary company and tested it appropriately. |
