Abstract

Diplomsko delo govori o stresu na delovnem mestu policista. Tema se nanaša predvsem na policiste, ki izvajajo policijske intervencije z uporabo prisilnih sredstev in z nastankom psihičnih posledic po intervenciji ‒ stresu. Na izvajanje intervencije, kjer se uporabljajo prisilna sredstva, vpliva veliko dejavnikov, je pa v veliki meri vse odvisno od samega policista, ki bo intervencijo izvedel. Intervencija kot takšna je stresna situacija, v kateri mora policist reagirati v trenutku. Kako bo policist odreagiral, je odvisno od njegovega psihofizičnega stanja. Bolj kot je policist telesno pripravljen in psihično stabilen, lažje bo izvedel intervencijo. Prav tako bo lažje uporabil prisilna sredstva med samo intervencijo. Zaradi pogostega izvajanja intervencij, le-te na policistih pustijo psihološki učinek. Ta učinek se kaže v posledicah, ki se pojavijo kot zdravstvene težave, psihične težave ali pa vedenjske težave. Bolje pripravljen policist bo lažje sprejel in hitreje saniral posledice, ki bodo nastale po intervenciji. V kolikor so posledice hujše, mora policist poiskati ustrezno pomoč. K tej pomoči ga lahko usmeri njegov nadrejeni ali pa njegovi domači.

Secondary abstract: Thesis about the stress on a police officer. The theme relates primarily to the police that the police intervention with the use of force and the formation of the psychological effects after the intervention - stress. The implementation of the intervention, using coercive means affected by many factors, but largely depends on all of the very police officer who conducted the intervention. Intervention such as a stressful situation in which the police reacted in time. How will the police react depending on their psychophysical condition. The more physically fit police officer, the officer more mentally stable, easier to carry out the intervention. It will also facilitate the use of coercive measures during the intervention. Due to the frequent application of the intervention, only the police officers to leave a psychological impact. This effect is reflected in the consequences that arise as health problems, psychological problems or behavioral problems. Better prepared to guard it easier to receive and rehabilitate faster consequences that will arise after the intervention. If the consequences are serious, the police officer must seek appropriate help. For this assistance can be directed by his superiors, or his home.
