Abstract

Diplomsko delo z naslovom Dejavnosti s ploščicami za vzorčke v predšolskem obdobju sestavljata teoretični in praktični del. V teoretičnem delu smo opredelili in povzeli strokovna spoznavanja različnih avtorjev o matematiki v predšolskem obdobju, vsebinskih področjih matematike in matematičnih pripomočkih. Posvetili smo se tudi geometriji in geometrijskim oblikam. Osrednja tema diplomskega dela je matematični pripomoček ploščice za vzorčke, ki smo ga podrobneje predstavili. Opredelili smo pripomoček kot tak, njegovo uporabo in različne aktivnosti. V praktičnem delu diplomskega dela smo s predšolskimi otroci izvedli aktivnosti s ploščicami za vzorčke, ki smo jih razdelili v šest različnih sklopov, ki so se stopnjevali glede na zahtevnost. Namen praktičnega dela je bil otrokom in vzgojiteljem predstaviti matematični pripomoček ploščice za vzorčke, izvesti različne naloge v okviru posameznih sklopov ter evalvirati izvedene matematične aktivnosti.

Secondary title: Activities with pattern blocks in preschool period
Secondary abstract: The thesis entitled Activities with Pattern Blocks in Preschool Period consists of a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part, we have defined and summarized the professional knowledge of various authors on mathematics in the preschool period, content areas of mathematics and mathematical aids. We also focused on geometry and geometric shapes. The main topic of the thesis was the mathematical tool of the pattern blocks, which we presented more in detail. We defined the device as such, its usage, and various activities. In the practical part of the diploma work, we carried out activities with preschool children with pattern blocks, which were divided into six different sets and those were graded according to complexity. The purpose of the practical work was to present to children and teachers the mathematical tool of the pattern blocks, to perform various tasks within individual sets and to evaluate the performed mathematical activities.
