Abstract

V diplomskem delu smo se osredotočili na vpletenost staršev v matematično izobraževanje predšolskih otrok. V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili pomembnost vloge staršev pri matematičnem razvoju otroka, različne matematične programe za starše in štiri matematične igre, ki smo jih izbrali za izvedbo spodbujanja starševske vpletenosti v matematično izobraževanje predšolskih otrok s pomočjo videoposnetkov. V okviru diplomskega dela smo nato s pomočjo videoposnetkov štirih izbranih matematičnih iger želeli staršem in otrokom približati matematiko na preprost in zabaven način. Ob tem tudi spodbuditi starše, da v večji meri vključujejo matematične dejavnosti v otrokov vsakdan. S pomočjo anket smo starše povprašali o njihovem mnenju, odnosu do matematike, matematičnih dejavnosti, novem načinu, ki smo jim ga predstavili, uporabi matematičnih dejavnosti doma in o splošnem zadovoljstvu in izkušnji s štirimi matematičnimi igrami, pri katerih so sodelovali skupaj z otroki. Pri tem so nas zanimale razlike v mnenju staršev glede spol in starost otrok ter glede na starševsko naklonjenost matematiki.

Secondary title: Encouraging parental involvement in preschoolers' mathematics education with the help of videos of mathematical games
Secondary abstract: In the thesis we have focused on the involvement of parents in the mathematical education of preschool children. In the theoretical part, we have presented the importance of the role of parents in the mathematical development of the child, various mathematical programs for parents and four mathematical games selected to promote the involvement of parents in the mathematical education of preschool children through videos. Within the thesis we wanted to introduce mathematics to parents and children in a simple and fun way through videos of four selected mathematical games. At the same time, we wanted to encourage parents to integrate mathematical activities into their children's daily lives. Using surveys, we asked parents about their attitudes toward mathematics, their mathematical activities with children at home, their opinions about the approach of using videos to introduce mathematical games, their use of mathematical games at home, and their overall satisfaction and experience with the four mathematical games they had played with their children. We were interested in differences in parents' responses according to the gender and age of their children and parents' attitude towards mathematics.
