Abstract

V obdobju 2019/2020 smo v letnem ciklu spremljali razvoj vegetativnih in generativnih organov jagode (Fragaria x ananassa Duch.) sorte 'Clery' v nasadu jagod v Zrkovcih. Podzemni del rastline najintenzivneje raste v jesenskem času, medtem ko njegovo dejavno rast zaustavljajo temperature tal pod 5 °C.

Secondary title: Vegetative and generative development of strawberries (fragaria x ananassa duch.)
Secondary abstract: During the 2019/2020 annual cycle, the development of vegetative and generative organs of the strawberry cultivar Clery (Fragaria x ananassa Duch.) was monitored at a strawberry plantation (cultivar Clery) in Zrkovci. We were interested in the dynamics of development of individual plant organs with regard to soil and air temperature and the initial seedling weight. We found that air temperatures below 5 °C arrest the vegetative development of the above-ground part of the plant. Although the underground part of the plant develops most intensively in autumn months, its active growth is inhibited by soil temperatures below 5 °C. The large differences in the weight of frigo seedlings of the same quality class (e.g. Class A) are clearly reflected in shoot formation potential, which directly affects the generative development of the seedlings. Namely, seedlings with a higher initial weight develop a greater number of properly developed shoots and are thus more suitable for planting in the ground at the end of June or at the beginning of July in the soil-climatic conditions of north-eastern Slovenia.
