Abstract

Namen magistrskega dela je sinteza novih kobaltovih koordinacijskih spojin s hidroksipiridini. Uporabljeni reagenti pri sintezah so bili kobaltov(II) acetat tetrahidrat in trije različni hidroksipiridini. Skupno je bilo opravljenih 25 sintez, ki so bile izvedene po treh različnih metodah. Te so bile: sinteza z mešanjem pri sobni temperaturi, sinteza z mešanjem pod refluksom in solvotermalna sinteza pri povišanem tlaku in temperaturi. Izbrani sintezni produkti so v drugem delu magistrskega dela bili karakterizirani s Fourierjevo transformacijsko infrardečo spektroskopijo in rentgensko analizo na monokristalu. S termogravimetrično analizo smo dobili dodatne informacije o lastnostih in strukturi spojin. Sintetizirana je bila ena nova, še do sedaj neznana koordinacijska spojina s kobaltom - [Co(C2H3O2)2(C5H5NO)2(H2O)2].

Secondary title: Synthesis and characterization of coordination compounds with cobalt using hydroxypyridine ligands
Secondary abstract: The purpose of this master's thesis was the synthesis of new cobalt coordination compounds with hydroxypyridines. The reagents used in the syntheses were cobalt(II) acetate tetrahydrate and three different hydroxypyridines. A total of 25 syntheses were performed using three different methods. Firstly, the synthesis by stirring at room temperature was preformed, secondly the synthesis by stirring under reflux and thirdly the solvotermal synthesis at elevated pressure and temperature. The obtained synthetic products in the second part of the master 's thesis were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and single crystal X - ray analysis. Additional information on the properties and structure of the compounds was obtained by thermogravimetric analysis. As a result, the previously unknown coordination compound with cobalt was synthesized - [Co(C2H3O2)2(C5H5NO)2(H2O)2].
