(diplomsko delo)
Abstract
Uvod: Alkohol je eden izmed vodilnih vzrokov bolezni, ki ga je možno preprečiti s preventivo. Pri preventivi so vključeni različni zdravstveni profili, eni izmed teh so tudi medicinske sestre. Prav medicinske sestre imajo pomembno vlogo zaradi tesnega stika in rednega stika z bolnikom. Namen zaključnega dela je raziskati preventivo alkoholizma in vlogo medicinske sestre pri odraslih.
Metode: Pridobljene podatke smo sistematično preučili in jih analizirali. Iskali smo jih v mednarodnih podatkovnih bazah: CHINAL, PubMed in MEDLINE. Z Boolovimi operaterji smo poiskali niz ključnih besed. Vse zadetke smo pregledali in jih predstavili s pomočjo PRISMA-diagrama (Moher, et al., 2009). Za kritično oceno člankov smo uporabili orodje Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI).
Rezultati: Uporabili smo 7 člankov, ki so ustrezali naši temi. Velik pomen imajo preventiva, uporaba presejalnih orodij in ustrezno izobraženo medicinsko osebje, kjer imajo posebno vlogo medicinske sestre.

The role of the nurse in the prevention of alcoholism in adults |
Secondary abstract: |
Introduction: The purpose of the final work is to investigate the prevention of alcoholism and the role of the nurse in adults. Alcohol is one of the leading causes of the disease, which can be prevented by prevention. Various health profiles are involved in prevention, one of which is nurses. It is nurses who play an important role due to close contact and regular contact with the patient.
Methods: The obtained data was systematically examined and analysed. Searched was performed in the following international databases: CHINAL, PubMed and MEDLINE. The Boolean operators for a set of keywords were used. All results were reviewed and presented using a PRISMA diagram (Moher, et al., 2009). The Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) tool was used to critically evaluate articles.
Results: Seven articles were found to match our topic. Prevention is of great importance, as also screening tools, appropriately trained medical staff, were nurses have a unique role. They must be educated in communication techniques. A method with computer-based alcohol testing and short term intervention and short term group interventions with nurses proved effective.
Discussion and conclusion: Alcoholism is becoming more common. Prevention must be carried out for the early detection of alcoholism. Nurses play an essential role in detecting, screening, and brief interventions. |
