diplomsko delo visokošolskega strokovnega študija Varnost in policijsko delo
Abstract
Mediji predvsem izbirajo in predstavljajo zanimive in senzacionalne primere kriminalitete in s tem stopnjujejo občutek ogroženosti med javnostjo in strah pred nasiljem.

ANALYSIS OF MEDIA REPORTS OF ROBBERIES |
Secondary abstract: |
The media make their living off of reporting. We must not be surprised by the fact that more often than not we are being presented with distorted, unverifiable information that are a product of, for example, a poorly researched event, or, are a just a figment of the reporter's imagination. The media foremost select and present interesting and sensational examples of criminality and thereby heighten the feeling of threat and fear of violence among the public. |
