Abstract

Tako v industriji kot tudi na drugih področjih razširjena resničnost postaja čedalje bolj priljubljena. Čeprav raziskave razširjene resničnosti potekajo že 25 let, obstaja še vedno veliko težav, povezanih z njo. Ena teh težav je prenos 3D CAD modela v okolje razširjene resničnosti. V tej nalogi smo preverili obstoječa orodja za izdelavo aplikacij razširjene resničnosti. Zasnovali smo proces prenosa 3D CAD modela v okolje razširjene resničnosti ter izdelali računalniško aplikacijo, ki prepozna resnični objekt in nanj projicira njegov virtualni ekvivalent. Aplikacija na podlagi prepoznanega objekta uporabniku poda informacije o objektu. Za prenos 3D modela iz CAD okolja v okolje razširjene resničnosti smo uporabili datotečni format FBX. Računalniško aplikacijo smo izdelali v okolju Unity3D, sledilnik za zaznavo 3D objekta pa smo izdelali s programom Vuforia.

Secondary abstract: Both in industry and in other fields, augmented reality is becoming more and more popular. Although augmented reality research has been going on for 25 years, there are still many problems associated with it. In this research we reviewed existing augmented reality application development tools. We designed the process of transferring a 3D CAD model to augmented reality and we developed a computer application that recognizes a real object and projects its virtual equivalent onto it. The application also provides user with information about the recognised object. To be able to transfer 3D models from the CAD environment to the augmented reality, we used FBX data format. We created the computer application in the Unity3D, and we used Vuforia software to create 3D model target.
