Abstract

Namen magistrskega dela je s kvalitativno raziskavo, ki analizira vključevanje otrok priseljencev na primeru ene osnovne šole, opraviti podroben pregled navedenega in ugotoviti, kako se izvajajo zakonski predpisi in upoštevajo različne smernice in na koncu za izbrano šolo pripraviti načrt izboljšav za uspešnejše vključevanje otrok priseljencev. Cilji magistrskega dela so: analizirati in proučiti obstoječo zakonsko podlago vključevanja otrok priseljencev v osnovne šole v Republiki Sloveniji, pripraviti študijo primera na podlagi obstoječe prakse pri delu s priseljenci na določeni osnovni šoli, zbrati ideje za spremembo obstoječe prakse na določeni osnovi šoli, pripraviti napotke za izboljšavo obstoječe prakse pri delu s priseljenci na določeni osnovni šoli. Magistrsko delo je sestavljena iz teoretičnega dela in empiričnega dela. V teoretičnem delu magistrskega dela je predstavljena obstoječa zakonodaja v Republiki Sloveniji s področja izobraževanja priseljencev ter aktualne smernice in priporočila za delo z otroki priseljenci. Empirični del magistrskega dela temelji na analizi obstoječega stanja, vključevanja priseljencev v osnovno šolo ter pripraviti možnosti izboljšav na določeni osnovni šoli. V empiričnem delu smo ugotovili, da se vključena šola z različnimi pristopi trudi ustvarjati šolski prostor, v katerem se učenci priseljenci počutijo sprejete. Učenci priseljenci, ki so sodelovali v raziskavi se čutijo sprejete in slišane, kar je bistveno za njihovo uspešno izobraževanje in vključevanje v novo okolje in družbo.

Secondary abstract: The purpose of the master's degree was to carry out a qualitative research that analyzes the integration of immigrant children of one basic school, to make a detailed review of the above, to determine how legal regulations are implemented and how different guidelines are followed, and finally to prepare an improvement plan for the selected school to improve the integration of immigrant children. The purposes of the master's degree were: To analyze and study the existing legal basis for the inclusion of immigrant children in basic schools in the Republic of Slovenia, to prepare a case study based on the existing practice in working with immigrants at a particular basic school, to gather ideas for changing existing practice on a specific school basis, and to prepare guidelines for improving existing working practices with immigrants in a particular basic school. The master's degree consists of the theoretical part and the empirical part. The theoretical part of the master's degree presents the existing legislation in the Republic of Slovenia in the field of immigrant education and current guidelines as well as recommendations for working with immigrant children. The empirical part of the Master's degree is based on the analysis of the current situation, on the integration of immigrants in primary school and on the preparation of the possibilities for improvement in a particular basic school. In the empirical work we found out that the integrated school tries to create a school place where newly integrated immigrant pupils feel accepted through different approaches. The immigrant pupils participating in the study feel accepted and heard which is essential for their successful education and integration into their new environment and society.
