Abstract

Secondary title: Developing applications for the Slack platform
Secondary abstract: Slack is a communication platform designed to enhance cooperation in various organizations. With 12 million daily users, Slack is one of the most popular communication platforms today, especially among software developers. To solve common problems, as well as simplify and automate the everyday tasks of their users, Slack allows developers to create their own applications. In the thesis, we describe how to develop an application for Slack and present a sample application for sending surveys and displaying their results. We discuss Slack's capabilities from the user's and developer's perspective and describe modern technologies used in the development process.
