Abstract

POVZETEK V prvem delu diplomskega dela so podrobneje predstavljeni redni letni razgovori (v nadaljevanju RLR). Teoretično so opredeljeni RLR-ji in odgovori na vprašanje, zakaj jih uvajati v organizacijo. Predstavljeni so tudi pogoji za učinkovito izvedbo ter faze uvedbe RLR-jev: priprava, potek in zaključek. V drugem delu je predstavljena Narodna in univerzitetna knjižnica (v nadaljevanju NUK), njen nastanek, pomen, funkcije in naloge ter kadrovska dejavnost. Podrobneje je predstavljena organizacijska struktura in trenutno stanje sistema razvoja kadrov v NUK-u. Za opis obstoječega stanja so uporabljeni notranji pravilniki knjižnice. Predstavljene so tudi konkretne rešitve za uvedbo RLR-jev v NUK. Tretji del je empirične narave, in sicer je cilj raziskave ugotoviti, kako bi zaposleni v NUK-u sprejeli uvedbo RLR-jev in ali mislijo, da so RLR-ji potrebni. Kako bi sprejeli uvedbo oziroma ali bi ta vplivala na njihovo delo, razvoj delovne kariere in motivacijo.

Secondary abstract: ABSTRACT The diploma work consists of three parts. In the first part the theoretical framework for regular annual career development interview is presented stating the reasons for applying it to an organisation. Necessary conditions for executing a successful career development interview are given as well as its stages: preparation, conduction and completion. In the second part the National and University Library of Slovenia (NUL) is presented: its foundation, value, mission and goals as well as its personnel policy. Special attention is given to the description of the present organisational structure and staff development policy resulting from internal library regulations and rules. Practical solutions for applying career development interviews are presented. In the third part results of the empirical study are explained. The purpose of the study was to find out how the career development interview would be accepted in NUL and if it is considered to be necessary. The research also points to the question of its impact on the staff development and motivation.
