magistrsko delo
Abstract
Diskutirane so pomanjkljivosti in uporabna vrednost raziskave. Podani so predlogi za raziskave medicinske hipnoze v prihodnosti.

The effect of a single hypnotic intervention on state anxiety (comparison of remote hypnosis and live hypnosis session) |
Secondary abstract: |
Hypnosis is a vigilant state with focused attention, characterized by an increased response to suggestions. Although hypnosis is an everyday condition, it can be used for a variety of purposes, including medicine, psychiatry, and psychotherapy. Among other things, medical hypnosis is proving to be an effective way to treat anxiety and anxiety disorders. In our study, we examined the effect of a single hypnotic intervention (live and remote) on anxiety on a sample of 59 participants (who completed a BSI questionnaire before applying). A single hypnotic intervention was found to significantly reduce anxiety in both groups, while the group did not affect the effectiveness of the intervention. State anxiety has been shown to be an important predictor of the effectiveness of hypnosis; however, trait anxiety has not. Previous experience with hypnosis has not affected the effectiveness of hypnosis. Significant, non-specific suggestions have been shown to significantly reduce anxiety, even remotely. In addition to quantitative data, the thesis also interpreted the written comments of the participants, who for the most part left the hypnosis workshop more relaxed and less anxious. The shortcomings and useful value of the research are discussed. Suggestions for future research in medical hypnosis are given. |
