Abstract

Secondary abstract: Human trafficking is the commerce and trade in the movement or migration of people, legal and illegal, including both legitimate labor activities as well as forced labour. The term is used in a more narrow sense by advocacy groups to mean the recruitment, transportation, harbouring, or receipt of people for the purposes of slavery, forced labour, and servitude. It is the fastest growing criminal industry in the world. Trafficking victims typically are recruited using coercion, deception, fraud, the abuse of power, or outright abduction. Threats, violence, and economic leverage such as debt bondage can often make a victim consent to exploitation. Exploitation includes forcing people into terrorism, violence, prostitution or other forms of sexual exploitation, forced labour or services, slavery or practices similar to slavery and servitude. For children, exploitation may also include forced prostitution, illicit international adoption, trafficking for early marriage, or recruitment as child soldiers and beggars. Victims of human trafficking can become prey in hands of terrorist organizations. They can be sold into slavery for terrorists or sold as goods to finance their activities. Terrorist groups use trafficking to recruit new members, which later become terrorists or suicide bombers. Children sold in human trafficking are trained into child soilders. They can also be sold on the market for human organs which means another cash flow for terrorist groups. So, a typical connection between terrorism and human trafficking is financial connection because an increasing number of terrorists cooperate with human traffickers or terrorist groups involve themselfs in trafficking to finance their activities. Also, there are transport links between both discussed objects, as most traffickers use the same transit routes as terrorist or vice versa. The most concerned thing is nexus between human trafficking and terrorism. To prevent or resolve this two problems is to create a common policy and to address them as a single problem.
