Življenje v zanikanju alkoholizma

Abstract

Živimo v državi, kjer se alkohol zelo tolerira. Pijemo ga ob vseh priložnostih, prireditvah, zabavah, ob kakršnemkoli razpoloženju (veselje, žalost,…). Le malo ljudi pa se zaveda njegovih dejanskih učinkov in posledic, ki jih prinaša. Namen diplomskega dela je celostna obravnava pacienta odvisnega od alkohola in njegove družine. Ugotavljali smo medsebojne odnose v družini in širšem okolju. Seznanili smo se s sodelovanjem med zdravstvenim timom in osebnim zdravnikom. Diplomska naloga predstavlja študijo primera pacienta odvisnega od alkohola. S pacientom smo opravili intervju z vnaprej pripravljenimi vprašanji. Intervju je bil opravljen na pacientovem domu, v dogovorjenem terminu. Ugotovili smo, da pacient neprekinjeno uživa alkohol že od otroštva, ko sta alkohol uživala njegova starša in sestre. Pacient živi sam. Žena ga je zapustila že pred mnogimi leti. Skupaj sta imela dva otroka, katera so jima odvzeli in dali v rejništvo zaradi alkoholizma. Ugotavljamo, da je pacient zelo neprilagodljiv in živi v svojem svetu, kjer mu edino oporo nudijo le še njegovi pivski prijatelji. Ugotovili smo, da ima pacient z vidika zdravstvene nege naslednje težave: neučinkovito vzdrževanje zdravja, zanikanje in socialna izolacija.

Secondary abstract:	We are living in a country where alcohol is very tolerated. We are drinking alcohol on every occasion, entertainment, party, in every kind of mood (happiness, sadness,...). But only a few people are aware of it's actual effects and consequences that it brings. The purpuse of this degree is complete treatment of patient addicted to alcohol and his family. We are establishing interacting relations in family and extended environment. We are getting to know collaboration between a health team and a doctor of family practice. This degree represents a case study of a patient addicted to alcohol. We conducted an interview with patient and we used questions that we pre-made. We made this interview in his home in aranged term. We found out that patient continually drinks alcohol since his childhood because his parents and sisters have been drinking alcohol as well. The patient lives alone. His wife left him many years ago. Together they had two children but they were taken from them and given into fostercare because of parent's alcoholism. We are finding out that the patient is very inflexible and he is living in his own world where the only support he gets is from his drinking friends. We have found out that the patient has from a point of view of health care next problems: ineffective meantaining health, denial and social isolation.
