Abstract

V mojem diplomskem delu sem predstavil kaj je informacijska tehnologija, čemu služi in kako jo podjetja uporabljajo. Pisal sem tudi o vplivu informacijske tehnologije na podjetja, kjer sem se osredotočil na poslovanje, marketing in analizo podatkov. Nato sem še predstavil informacijsko tehnologijo na primeru McDonalds, kako ta tehnologija vpliva na gostoljubnost in storitev franšize, kako mcdonalds uporablja informacijsko tehnologijo v svojem vsakodnevnem poslovanju in povezavo med informacijsko tehnologijo in marketingom. Omenil sem tudi tehnologije, katere je McDonalds implementiral, ki so pomagale pri izboljšavi poslovanja podjetja McDonalds in približevanju svojih izdelkov in storitve svojim strankam. Za na konec pa sem se odločil, da se bom poglobil v aplikacijo »McDonalds«, ki se je izkazala kot zelo velik uspeh in posledično spremenila interakcijo med podjetjem in potrošnikom.

Secondary abstract: In my diploma, I presented what information technology is, what it serves and how companys use it. I also wrote about the impact of information technology on companys, where i focused on business, marketing and data analysis. I then presented information technology on the case of McDonalds, how that technology effects the hospitality and service of the franchise, how McDonalds uses information technology in its daily business and the connection between information technology and marketing. I also mentioned the technologies implemented by McDonalds that have helped improve McDonalds business and bring their products and services closer to their costumers. In the end, I decided to delve in to the »McDonalds« application, which proved to be a great success and consequently changed the interaction between the company and the consumers.
