Abstract
Teoretična izhodišča: Korupcija, porast gospodarskega kriminala, samovolja v poslovnem življenju itd. so simptomi moralne krize v današnji družbi. Namen magistrske naloge je pokazati pomen morale in etike prek vrednot v odnosu do poslovnega odločanja. V ospredje vrednot postavljamo, kot temelj, moralno držo človeka oz. posameznika, vodje, managerja.
Metode: Raziskava je temeljila na naslednjih raziskovalnih metodah: metodi analize, metodi deskripcije ter metodi dedukcije. Z osnovnimi statističnimi analizami s pomočjo programa SPSS 19.0 smo uporabili metodo analize frekvenc, križnih tabel in osnovnih statističnih T-testov, analizo variance ter nekaj naprednejših statističnih analiz. Kot instrument smo uporabili anketni vprašalnik, s katerim smo želeli pridobiti podatke o glavnih problemih krize vrednot v širšem družbenem okolju, predvideti nadaljnji razvoj družbe in njenih vrednot ter možne ukrepe za omilitev negativnih trendov.
Raziskava je pokazala, da je več kot tri četrtine anketirancev zadovoljnih z delom, ki ga opravljajo na trenutnem delovnem mestu. Večina jih tudi pozna in upošteva etični kodeks javnih uslužbencev. Izkazalo se je tudi, da se vprašani zavedajo trenutnega stanja glede vrednot, norm in etičnih načel v družbi in okolju. Rešitev trenutnega stanja vidijo v vzgoji in izobraževanju, nakazujejo pa tudi na potrebo po ureditvi zakonodaje ter po strožjih kaznih v vseh segmentih družbenega in političnega življenja. Med prvih pet vrednot, ki poosebljajo duh vodenja vprašanih, so se uvrstile naslednje: odgovornost, poštenost, strokovnost, nepodkupljivost in učinkovitost. Kot prvih pet vrednot, h katerim bi v bodoče vprašani radi stremeli, pa so se izkazale: odgovornost, strokovnost, poštenost, zakonitost in učinkovitost. Na podlagi vrednot trenutnega duha vodenja in bodočih vrednot smo nato izračunali še razkorak. Izkazalo se je, da dosegata največji pozitiven razkorak (ki nakazuje tudi na stremljenje k temu) vrednoti samoizpolnitev in trajnostni razvoj, kar v času svetovne globalizacije in današnjih trendov niti ni presenetljivo.

Theoretical references: Corruption, bankruptcy, fraud, excessive ownership transformation, the increase of economic crime, self-will in business life etc. are symptoms of a moral crisis in the modern society. The purpose of the master’s thesis is therefore to show the meaning of ethics through values in business decision-making. The basis of all values is the moral attitude of an individual, leader, manager.
Methods: The research was based on the following research methods: the method of analysis, the method of description, the method of deduction (to conclude on the basis of general cognitions), we used basic statistical analyses with the help of the SPSS 19.0 program: the methods of frequency analysis, cross tables and basic statistical T-tests, and the variance analysis. However, we also used some advanced statistical analyses, such as the factor analysis with the help of principal components, which serves the reduction of variables from the list of statements, the correlation analysis for checking the connection of variables, and the regression analysis for checking influences.
The analysis of questionnaires has shown that more than three quarters of the respondents are satisfied with their present work. Most of them know and respect the code of ethics for public officers and employers.
The research has also shown that the respondents are aware of the present situation regarding values, norms and ethical principles in the society and the environment. The solution to this problem is in their opinion in education. However, they have indicated the need for a change of legislation and a more severe penalty in all segments of social and political life. Furthermore, the respondents were given a set of 20 organisational values, among which they had to choose 10 values which personify the spirit of their leadership, and 10 values which they would like to strive for in the future. The analysis has shown that the respondents have chosen more or less the same first ten values.
Among the first five values which personify the spirit of leadership are: responsibility, integrity, professional competence, incorruptibility and efficiency. The first five values which respondents would like to strive for are: responsibility, professional competence, integrity, legality and efficiency. On the basis of values of the present leadership spirit and future values a gap between the two sets has been determined. It has been found out that there is the biggest positive gap (which also indicates striving for this value) between the values of self-fulfilment and sustainable development, which is not a surprising fact, as we are facing the period of globalisation and modern trends. |
