diplomsko delo visokošolskega strokovnega študija
Abstract
Nadaljnje izobraževanje in usposabljanje učiteljev je ena izmed oblik vseživljenjskega učenja, ki poleg študijskih programov za izpopolnjevanje in/ali pridobitev izobrazbe, učiteljem zagotavlja možnost za obnavljanje, razširjanje in poglabljanje znanja ter seznanjanje z novostmi stroke. Osnovni namen nadaljnjega izobraževanja in usposabljanja strokovnih delavcev v vzgoji in izobraževanju je profesionalni razvoj ter strokovna in osebnostna rast pedagoških delavcev, s čimer se povečuje tudi kakovost in učinkovitost celotnega vzgojno izobraževalnega sistema.
Cilj diplomskega dela je proučiti sistem, vsebino in načine financiranja nadaljnjega izobraževanja in usposabljanja učiteljev osnovnih šol v programih nadaljnjega izobraževanja in usposabljanja. V tej diplomski nalogi nas je zanimalo: kakšna je udeležba učiteljev v programih nadaljnjega izobraževanja in usposabljanja, kakšen je vpliv programov nadaljnjega izobraževanje in usposabljanja na njihov profesionalni razvoj in koliko programi nadaljnjega izobraževanja in usposabljanja pripomorejo k pridobivanju in/ali izboljšanju posameznih kompetenc, ki jih učitelji potrebujejo za uspešno izvajanje pedagoškega dela.
V teoretičnem delu so predstavljena izbrana izhodišča za obravnavo problema diplomskega dela, kjer je poudarek na izobraževanju in usposabljanju učiteljev, nadaljnjem izobraževanju in usposabljanju učiteljev, kompetencah in profesionalnem razvoju.
Izvedena je bila tudi empirična raziskava. Na temelju obravnave rezultatov statistične obdelave pridobljenih podatkov smo ugotovili, da so anketirani visoko motivirani za nadaljnje izobraževanje in usposabljanje. V povprečju se letno udeležujejo 3 do 5 dni programov nadaljnjega izobraževanja in usposabljanja. Ob tem najpogosteje programov s področja informacijske tehnologije in pismenosti. Ključni problem neudeležbe v želenih programih oz. neudeležbe nasploh je v finančni nezmožnosti organizacije. Pomemben dejavnik neudeležbe je tudi oddaljenost kraja izvajanja programa. Raziskava je pokazala, da proces načrtovanja nadaljnjega izobraževanja in usposabljanja na ravni učitelja ni dolgoročno zastavljen. Ni prepoznanih pristopov celostne obravnave ciljev in kazalnikov s strani vodstev organizacij glede načrtovanja, analiziranja, učinkov in dodane vrednosti udeležbe učiteljev v programih nadaljnjega izobraževanja in usposabljanja. Anketiranci so kritično ocenili kakovost organizacije in vsebine programov nadaljnjega izobraževanja in usposabljanja. Ob tem so poudarili, da si želijo novosti na področju vsebin programov in tudi zakonodajnih sprememb sistema nadaljnjega izobraževanja in usposabljanja v RS.

In-service teacher training represents one of many different forms of life-long learning, which enable teachers to renew and expand their knowledge. It also enables teachers to acquire new ideas and practices in their profession. The primary aim of in-service teacher training is professional development and personal growth of pedagogues, which increases quality and effectiveness of the entire education system.
The main purpose of our graduation thesis is to examine/research the scope and quality of in-service teacher training teachers in primary school. In that framework, we put our focus on researching: the extent of participation of teachers in in-service teacher training programs; the impact of in-service teacher training program on professional development of teachers; and what the contribution of in-service teacher training programs in acquiring and/or improvement of single competencies, which teachers need for successful work, is.
In the theoretical part, the main focus is laid on the cognitions regarding the education and training of teachers, in-service teacher training, competencies and professional development.
Moreover, an empirical study was also carried out. Based on the examined results obtained in a statistical treatment of the acquired data, it was concluded that the interviewed persons are highly motivated for further education and training. They attend further education and training programs for 3 to 5 days on average, especially the ones in the area of the information technology and literacy. The key issue of not attending the desired programs or not attending such programs in general is the financial inability of the organization. A significant factor of nonattendance is also the remoteness of the place where the programs is being carried out. The research showed that the planning process for further education and training at the teacher’s level is not set in a long term. There aren't any recognized approaches to the integral treatment of the objectives and indicators by the organizations’ management in terms of planning, analysis, effects and added value to the attendance of teachers in the further education and training programs. The persons interviewed have critically assessed the quality of organization and the contents of further education and training programs. Furthermore, they stressed that they would like to see innovations in the field of program contents and also in the field of legislative changes within the further education and training system in the Republic of Slovenia. |
