Secondary abstract: | The subject of this paper is the professional interpretation of the poetry of Anton Podbevšek, Srečko Kosovel and Alojz Gradnik in the interwar period (1918-1941). It presents the characteristic of the modernist-expressionist model of literary criticism, which was predominant in the 1920s. The main object of the discursive analysis of critical texts is to answer which forms of poetry were institutionally supported and which were rejected. The analysis of the key concepts of the interpretive community provides insight into its way of understanding the poetry. |
